The Platform Fee is Clayform's fee on a Patient's card Payment to your Clinic. It is copied onto each Payment when it is made, so a later change never reprices one.

    Each band includes texts every month; beyond them: Billed monthly: 6p per SMS segment and 12p per Call minute, up to a monthly cap you set (£50 by default). Reminders, confirmations and pay links always go out, even at the cap. Emails are not metered.

    A UK mobile number for your Clinic, set up at signup. Your texts go out from it, and the AI Receptionist answers it once you switch it on. Clayform pays for the number.

How the fees work, and what they cover.

When is the Platform Fee taken?

As each card Payment is made. The Patient pays your Clinic through Stripe and the Platform Fee comes off that Payment before it reaches your balance. It is separate from your Subscription.

How is the monthly price set?

By the Appointments your Clinic held the month before: £49 for up to 100 appointments, £129 for up to 400 appointments, £249 for over 400 appointments, all ex VAT. An Appointment counts once the Patient is checked in; add-ons don't count. A busy month never costs more mid-month: it sets next month's price, and gets the bigger band's texts straight away.

What does it cost to start?

Nothing to sign up and set up. When your Clinic is ready to take Bookings you go live: the rest of that month is free, then £1 a month for 3 months. The first 300 Clinics keep their prices for 2 years.

Can I cancel?

Any time, in Settings. You stay live to the end of the month you have paid for, and your records stay. Paying yearly costs 10 months' price for 12.

Do you charge per Practitioner or per seat?

No. Add every Practitioner, Manager and Front desk Membership your Clinic needs. Clayform is never priced per seat or per Practitioner.

What happens if a fee changes?

Each fee is copied onto the record it prices when that record is created: the Platform Fee onto the Payment, the Pharmacy Margin onto the Order Line, the Commission onto the Visit Day. A change never reprices anything already agreed.

Are texts and calls charged?

Each band includes texts every month; only what goes beyond them is Usage. SMS segments and AI Receptionist Call minutes are billed monthly as Usage (6p per segment, 12p per minute), up to a monthly cap you set (£50 by default). Reminders, confirmations and pay links always go out, even at the cap.

What does a Pharmacy Order cost?

The price of each Product for your Organisation's Pricing Tier, plus Clayform's Pharmacy Margin (0% today), delivery and VAT where it applies, on one Pharmacy Invoice paid by your saved card. Any Platform Credit comes off first.

Do prescribers pay to join the marketplace?

There is no listing fee. Clayform's Commission, 0% today, is kept back from the fees a prescriber is paid for Consults, Call-outs, Administration and Supervision. Clinics pay the prescriber's own fees, nothing on top.

Is the AI notetaker extra?

No. Note Drafts from a recorded Consultation carry no per-session charge.
